🔥 WAFFLE WARS – CHAPTER CHALLENGE 🔥

ACF Atlanta’ August Meet-up come compete or just watch the action - Get ready for the ultimate waffle showdown! Waffle Wars at Gordon Food Service brings chefs head‑to‑head in a fast‑paced, high‑energy competition where creativity meets crunch.

Chefs will battle through three intense rounds, each featuring four contestants racing against the clock. With only 15 minutes to review ingredients and plate their creations, every second counts. The star of the show? The Hartybake Waffle — savory or sweet — transformed into a dessert masterpiece using a shared pantry of sauces, garnishes, textures, and chef-driven imagination.

Each contestant presents two plates: ✨ One for the Judges ✨ One for the Fan Favorite Vote

Judging is based on creativity, flavor balance, technical execution, and visual appeal — and yes, the judges’ decisions are final. But the crowd gets in on the action too: the Fan Favorite Award goes to the waffle that wins the hearts (and votes) of attendees.

ACF Atlanta Chefs - Artisan Pizza Chapter Challenge!!!

The ACF Atlanta Chefs Pizza Chapter Challenge, proudly partnering with Smithfield Culinary, on Monday April 20th, bringing chefs and culinarians together for a fast‑paced, flavor‑packed competition celebrating creativity, technique, and bold pizza craftsmanship. Competitors will build their signature pies using premium ingredients and showcase their skills under pressure as they battle for top honors.

This year’s challenge will be evaluated by industry professionals from leading pizza brands — including experts from M&T Pizza, Mellow Mushroom, Antico, Your Pie, and more — bringing real‑world insight and authentic culinary credibility to the judging panel.

All contestants must be registered and checked in at least 30 minutes prior to the contest starting (3:30pm). Contestants must be 16 years old or older.  Winners receive a Special ACF Atlanta Chefs Trophy, Chapter Medals & Certificates. Please click on the application for full details!

                   

ACF Atlanta Chefs is hosting our First Chicken Wing Showdown!!!

This ACF Atlanta Chefs Showdown will showcase your signature wings.  You will receive 10 wings to prepare in your signature style. We will have special Guest Judges From 3 Dollar Café, Hooters, Walk Ons, Taco Mac & Magic City! Winners receive a Special ACF Atlanta Chefs Trophy, Chapter Medals & Certificates, prize money and bragging rights. Please click on the application for full details!

The Peach State Mystery Basket Competition gives student & professionals the opportunity to put their culinary skills to the test against their other culinarians. The winners will receive a cash prize and an ACF medal.  

Come out and compete against the region’s top students & professional chefs in a mystery basket competition.

ACF Atlanta Chefs aim to unite culinarians, celebrate the art of cooking, showcase our knowledge of skills, techniques, creativity, and cook delicious meals. While providing an environment to, socialize, be creative, showcase your cooking skills, and have fun.
