ChEF ASHLEY KEYES
Being a member of the American Culinary Federation has been an invaluable part of my professional journey. I joined in 2012, shortly after graduating from culinary school, after noticing an invitation printed on the back of my graduation program. I saw ACF as an opportunity to remain connected to the culinary profession, continue my education, and build relationships with other chefs as I began my career.
Over the years, ACF has provided me with mentorship, leadership opportunities, national connections, and a professional community committed to education, service, and culinary excellence. The relationships and experiences I have gained through the organization have helped shape me not only as a chef, but also as an educator and community leader. What began with a simple invitation has become an essential part of my career and my commitment to developing the next generation of culinary professionals.
ChEF ZACHARY MARCOUX
Being a member of the Atlanta Chefs Association has been an invaluable part of my professional journey. The ACF provides opportunities to connect with talented chefs, exchange ideas, and continue learning from some of the best culinary professionals in our industry. The organization's commitment to education, mentorship, and elevating the culinary profession aligns with my own passion for continuous improvement and developing future culinary leaders.
As Culinary Director for Carlyle's Catering, I appreciate being part of a community that values professionalism, craftsmanship, and giving back to our industry. The relationships I've built through ACF Atlanta have strengthened both my career and my commitment to culinary excellence.
Thank you for all you do to support our chapter. I'm proud to be a member and look forward to continuing to contribute to its success.
ChEF EDUCATOR - KEIO C. GAYDEN
As a secondary Culinary Arts educator, my membership with ACF Atlanta has been one of the most valuable investments in my professional journey. It provides so much more than a membership, it opens the door to meaningful networking, industry exposure, and continuous professional development alongside some of the most talented chefs and culinary professionals in our region.
Being connected to ACF Atlanta allows me to stay current with industry trends, refine my skills, and bring real-world knowledge back into the classrooms that I touch. The relationships I have built with fellow chefs, educators, and industry leaders have created countless opportunities not only for my own growth, but also for students.
CHEF NICK BARRINGTON, CEC ®
Being introduced to the American Culinary Federation (ACF) in 1999 by several dedicated members was a defining moment in my culinary career. From the very beginning, I was welcomed into a professional organization that truly values its members and is committed to mentoring both current and future culinarians to strengthen the industry we all love.
I officially joined the ACF in 2000 and have never looked back. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of serving as a Chapter President in Orlando, Florida. In 2014, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where I became part of the incredible culinary family known as the Atlanta ACF Chefs Association and eventually became Chapter President.
What makes ACF Atlanta Chapter so unique is its unwavering commitment to welcoming culinarians of every skill level and every position within our profession. Whether you are a student, apprentice, chef, educator, or industry partner, you are treated with respect and encouraged to grow.
The professional connections we've made and the lifelong friendships we've built continue to strengthen both our chapter and our industry. Together, we demonstrate that by supporting one another, mentoring the next generation, and sharing our knowledge, we all grow stronger together.
