ACF Atlanta Chefs have had another couple of busy months with events across the metro Atlanta area. Towards the end of End of October, we hosted Feeding First Responders that was hosted in two locations, The Hansen Group & WFV in Fairburn.
Thank you, Chef Charlie Hatney, CEC for heading up such a great event Feeding and Honoring First Responders. Chef Hatley was able to bring together the fire departments, police departments and veteran's who are currently serving and have served as first responders. We look forward to next year! To volunteer for this opportunity or others, please follow ACF - ATL on our social media platforms.
We also want to say thank you to the both host locations, all the partners and volunteers who helped out making this event such a success. Thank you to Gwinnett County and Fulton County the first responders for coming out so we could honor them for all they do for us on a daily basis.

November brought us the ACF Atlanta Chefs Golf Classic. This years host location was The River Club in Suwannee Georgia. The day was filled with great comradery among our members, partners and industry's professionals. In case you missed it... We had over 80 players from all corners of the state and the weather was perfect.
ACF Atlanta Chefs pride ourselves on Uniting Atlanta Culinary Community. This year’s ACF Atlanta Golf Classic partners were teamed up together for just this purpose, to Unite! Royal Cup Coffee & Tea teamed up with CGA Reps and the FRANKIE Van for our morning caffeine boost. US Foods teamed up the ACF Atlanta Chefs and Students from North Georgia Technical College to provide us with tasty trats for Breakfast and the Post Golf Grillin’ and Chillin’ Post Golf Reception. The Hansen’s Group Chef Danny Cerqueda and his amazing street tocos teamed up with Matt Ferdy from Via Carota Craft Cocktails at the turn house. PepsiCo along with Frito Lay teamed up to do our snack stations on the golf course with Chef Ashley Keyes and the C.H.O.I.C.E.S team. The PGA Super Store assisted with the raffle prizes along with Georgia Crown Wine Awards for our Post Golf Reception. And we can’t forget Edlund’s closest to the pin golf club and business card give away.
As Chef Nick’s last year as President, he wanted to go out with a bang. He was gifted several AP Golf Clubs and an AP Golf Bag. This year’s award winners were… Closest to the pin Chris Pace – The Longest Drive was Ben Chastain – In Third Place was team Pace Reps – In second Place was team Northside Culinary & this year’s winners were Atlanta Equipment Company. Thank you to all those who came out to participate! We will have a recap video out soon.
We are working on the date for next years Golf Classic. If you want to get involved make sure you email Polly before tits to late. Uniting Atlanta’s Culinary community.
