The ACF Atlanta Chefs Association believes in promoting the professional development and success of culinary students in the Atlanta Metro area. To show our support, we have launched the Student Culinary Incentive Program (SCIP) to give students the opportunity to be involved with professional chefs and our great organization. Through SCIP, students may earn a paid ACF Student Culinarian membership in the ACF-Atlanta Chefs Association and much more.

Students who participate in monthly meetings and volunteer their time helping at Chapter approved events will be working toward these goals. SCIP hours and award levels are:

  • 20 hours = Chapter lapel pin and 5 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs)
  • 40 hours = ACF Student Membership and 5 CEHs.
  • 60 hours = Cutting edge culinary book and 5 CEHs.

When students reach each award level, volunteer hours must be verified to the Chapter Secretary or Executive Director. Recorded SCIP book hours may be verified by any Board member at a Chapter meeting.

Many students have already begun to work toward meeting these requirements. It is our desire that all students will take advantage of the SCIP program, become actively involved, and recognized as an up and coming chef of the ACF-Atlanta Chefs Association.
