The bus will depart from Gwinnett Technical College

Polly Barrington will collect a $20 fee before departure.

A Day on the Farm with the Certified Angus Beef ® brand

8:00 a.m. Group departs from Gwinnett Technical College (5150 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA 30043) for CAM Ranches.

9:00 a.m. Group arrives at CAM Ranches (6 Deerfield Road, Arnoldsville, GA, 30619).

9:15 a.m. Welcome to CAM Ranches Thank you for joining us for this special day at the ranch. You’ll meet Andrew McPeake of CAM Ranches and the Certified Angus Beef ® brand team to discover what is in store for the day.

9:30 a.m. Meet the Beef Community The beef community focuses on cattle care, environmental stewardship and sustainability at every level, and no one understands that better than Andrew. This is your opportunity to get to know a rancher, and the role he plays in caring for his cattle and the land, as well as to better understand how he partners throughout the community to bring his best to your door.

10:15 a.m. Pasture Tour Step into the pasture with Andrew and experience a day in the life of a rancher. Learn about what cattle eat, how the care they receive is an utmost priority and discuss what a year in the life of a rancher looks like, including topics covering the challenges of Mother Nature and markets. In addition, Andrew will share what sustainability means to him and why it’s an underlying factor in the daily decisions he makes.

12:00 p.m. Lunch at the Ranch The McPeake family has opened their home to us for lunch while visiting today. Enjoy time with the McPeake family, our staff and fellow attendees.

1:00 p.m. Take it to the Table – Blake Dickson

1:30 p.m. Closing Comments & Wrap Up – Josh Ennis & Blake Dickson
