The American Culinary Federation - Atlanta Chefs Association (ACF-ACA) is a 501(c) 6 non-profit professional organization for culinary profession. The ACF-ACA services the Atlanta Metro area and most of the State of Georgia. Inclusive in the ACF-Atlanta Chefs Association is the metropolitan areas north of Atlanta, south and west through Rome, Albany, Columbus, Macon, and Valdosta. Our goal is to unite the many facets of the culinary community into a totally-inclusive, synergetic professional organization.
Our mission is to support and promote the American Culinary Federation through personal and professional development, competitions, networking, and community outreach programs designed to enhance the professional growth of current and future members. Members of the American Culinary Federation and the ACF-Atlanta Chefs Association, Inc. are automatically part of a global chefs’ organization — The World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS) or Worldchefs for short. Worldchefs is a global network of more than 100 chef associations that represent over 10 million professional chefs worldwide.
The ACF-Atlanta Chefs Association was founded on the premise of promoting the professional image of American chefs through education of culinarians and the foodservice industry. The ACF-ACA exists for the mutual enrichment and advancement of its members; to promote the culinary profession to the food industry, general public, and government agencies; and to support local communities through philanthropy.
The ACF-ACA brings together hard-working chefs, cooks, chef educators, pastry chefs, bakers, caterers, culinary enthusiasts, industry purveyors, culinary students, and other culinarians from mainly around the Atlanta Metro area and further Georgia metropolitan areas. The ACF-ACA is dedicated to the promotion of excellence, education, professionalism, and collegiality in the culinary profession.
